Reasons for Sketching

  

• To persuade people who make decisions about a project that an idea is good
• Develpoe refined sketch of a proposed solution to a problem, so the client can respond to it
• Clarify complicated detail of drawing that has more than one view by enlarging t or by creating a simple (pictorial)
• To give design ideas to drafter
• Develope and analyze the best methods and materials for the products
• Record permanetly a design improvement on a project that already exist. Change may accure in the furture
• To show that are many ways to look at or solve problem
• spend less time in drawing.

 Quicker to make a sketch, pencil and paper

 

Rough Sketches: drawn quickly with jagged lines

 

Refined Sketches: drawn more carefully than rough

 

Presentation Sketches: 3 demisional sketchers

 

Visualization: ability to see clearly in the minds eye, what anything looks like

 

Implemtation: drawing the object that has been visualized
